What causes capable pilots to find themselves in avoidable situations? Many aviation mistakes are not caused by a single bad decision, but by a chain of small errors that gradually reduce safety margins. This seminar continues our discussion on practical ways pilots can recognize and avoid the habits, assumptions, and distractions that contribute to preventable incidents.
Using videos 3 and 4 from the aviation safety series 17 Ways to Avoid Falling Out of the Sky, attendees will examine additional real-world scenarios involving pilot judgment, situational awareness, procedural discipline, and risk management. Discussion will focus on strengthening decision making, improving safety habits, and identifying error chains before they lead to serious consequences.
Although this seminar builds on concepts introduced during Part 1, pilots are welcome to attend even if they missed the prior session.
