Aircraft Finance Poll

The 8 Ball Flying Club is buying a new plane.  Maybe it will be N260TA, or maybe not.

Most likely due to market conditions, whatever we purchase will require additional funds.

If we purchase N260TA, or even a different aircraft for a similar price, we will need to raise approximately $240,000.

We can take a loan and increase the member dues to cover the loan payment.

Alternatively we can leave the dues alone and issue a member assessment.

The member assessment can be one-time, or spread over a year.

Which finance method is best for YOU?

1. Obtain a loan and increase dues by $46 per month.
2. No dues increase but a one time assessment of $3,700 per member.
3. No dues increase but a monthly assessment of $307 per month per member for one year.
