This basic pistol course is designed for any gun owner or potential gun owner who recognizes and understands the need to be competent with a firearm.  This course is designed to introduce citizens in the use of deadly force, how to protect yourself physically, and how to protect yourself legally after an incident. This course also covers firearms safety, storage, basic weapon handling, and marksmanship fundamentals.

You must bring a functioning, safe firearm along with 100 rounds of ammunition.  A limited number of guns are available to borrow and ammunition is available for purchase at the range if you wish.

Cost

$150 per person payable to the instructor on the day of the class.

Chief Instructor Robert Duran

Robert Duran is a certified law enforcement firearms instructor. He trains self defensive tactics, first aid, anti-terrorism, situational awareness, defensive pistol, shotgun, and patrol rifle courses to government security contractors across the western United States.

Instructor Keishawn Abney

Keishawn Abney is a Federal Police officer, LEO instructor, Ca P.O.S.T. baton and defensive tactics instructor, USCCA Pistol instructor, Range Safety officer, and first aid instructor. When Keishawn is not on the range, he is giving back to the community and making new memories with his friends and family.
